Accessibility Statement

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.

Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.

Thank you. We hope you enjoy using our website.

Elective Surgery Safety with Jeff Welch, CEO of Tenet Healthcare Miami/Dade Group

May 4, 2020

As we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, I want to share with you that we have resumed all elective services at our Miami-Dade Group hospitals. Your safety is our top concern, and we have taken the steps necessary to prepare. We have the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), safe processes and hospital capacity to care for all patients. We have strict policies and procedures in place to keep patients safe and to ensure the safety of staff, physicians and the community. Rest assured that COVID-19 patients are cared for in separate areas of the hospitals. All patients and staff are screened and provided with appropriate protective gear and PPE. It is important not to delay lifesaving urgent or emergent care that could be vital to your health.

Emergencies happen – and are unplanned. As a reminder, we remain open 24/7 with board-certified physicians to care for any emergent medical need, at any time. Our hospitals are open and safe to care for you and your loved ones. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our exceptional team of dedicated caregivers regularly treated infectious diseases, and we remain prepared and ready to continue to provide safe care.

We are proud to serve as your healthcare ambassadors to guide you through this difficult time. We are a Community Built on Care.
