FMC Donates Over 1,700 Servings of Cereal to Boys & Girls Club of Lauderhill

Leaders with cereal boxesFlorida Medical Center provides 1,700 servings of healthy breakfast to local families struggling with hunger this summer with a donation of 214 boxes of cereal through its Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive. The donations benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Lauderhill.

 “Promoting health and serving the community is the core of what we do at our hospital,” said Trey Abshier, CEO of Florida Medical Center. “I thank my colleagues for their generous contributions to the Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive and teaming up to tackle hunger and make a difference in the lives of local families.”

The annual drive ran from June 3 to June 10 and was in partnership with Florida Medical Center’s parent company, Tenet Healthcare.
