Salute to Nursing - Alvaro Garcia, RN

Alvaro Garcia photoAlvaro Garcia started working at Florida Medical Center as a transporter ten years ago. He quickly realized that he wanted to become a nurse to help people. Alvaro is now a monitor tech. He always gives of himself to his peers, and most of all, to the patients he serves. His goal is to grow with the company and work in critical care. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Miami. He is working on getting his bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida. In his spare time, he likes to travel and spend time with his family.
