Our Orthopedic Team

Florida Medical Center’s orthopedic program is comprised of a skilled multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals offering expert treatments and coordinated, compassionate care. Our team of orthopedic surgeons, nurses, educators, dietitians, therapists, case managers and the orthopedic navigator are committed to helping you or a loved one achieve a more rapid recovery and ultimately return to a more active lifestyle.

Coordinated Care Approach

Our team at Florida Medical Center utilizes a collaborative and coordinated approach to care that spans beyond just a surgical procedure. With specialized training and education in orthopedics, our surgeons, operating room teams, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, therapy specialists and the many others that take part in your care, are dedicated to enhancing your quality of life through a comprehensive recovery plan.

In most cases your treatment plan may begin prior to your procedure.  The orthopedic navigator will guide you through the process. Your treatment plan may include pain management, physical and/or occupational therapy and a plan for once you arrive home. With a coordinated approach, our members of the orthopedic team will help ensure that you are prepared for the road to recovery.
